Classes 8, 9 and 10 parents are invited to our Environmental Studies Centre at The Farm, on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th May, to see first hand some of the activities the children do during their sessions there. Please call in at any time within the time slots below and staff will be delighted to show you round.
All children in classes 7, 8, 9,10 and 11 attend Speech Day, our annual formal event where pupils’ achievements over the past year are acknowledged.
This year we are delighted to welcome, as our Guest of Honour, Mr John Moule, Head Master of Bedford School, who will present the prizes.
Children should arrive at school at 10.30am, for an 11am start. The event finishes by lunchtime and further details will be sent to you.
Class 3 9.15am
Class 4 9.45am
Class 5 10.15am
Classes 6 & 7 11.00am (House tee shirts to be worn by classes 6 and 7)
The events take place on the school field (to the side of the driveway exit) and we invite you all to come and watch.
On the same day as pre-prep Sports Day, we also look forward to welcoming our children’s grandparents to school.
We hope that our pre-prep grandparents will enjoy Sports Day in the morning and those who have a grandchild in classes 5, 6 and 7 are invited to a visiting theatre production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame in the sports hall after lunch.
Prep grandparents will have an opportunity to spend time with their grandchild in the classroom and, if he/she has been chosen for that day’s sports matches, to watch the game after lunch.
There will be a Tuck Shop for prep pupils and those in classes 6 and 7, each Friday at morning break after half term. From Monday to Thursday they will continue to bring their own healthy snacks.
Sports Day for pupils in classes 8 to 11 starts at 10am and pupils should arrive at school from 9.30am and go to their designated House classroom. Attendance is compulsory for prep pupils.
Parents and family/friends are invited to come and watch the events, which take place on the school field and finish at approximately mid-day.
Pupils require a House tee shirt for Sports Day.
On the last day of term we will be having an Olympics theme day. Further details to follow.
