Spring Fete

A very big thank you to everyone who helped organize the Spring Fete on Saturday 6th March.  It could not have happened without so much help and support from our parents.

It was our Parents’ Association’s first big event and one which was enthusiastically supported by our familes here at MKPS and those from Broughton Manor Prep School and Walton Pre-Prep School.  It was a great atmosphere and an enormous success.

The sports hall was full of stalls – outside craft stall holders, and those organized by us in school, plus a “café” in the dining hall.  The cake stall was positively groaning under the weight of delicious cakes and biscuits!

The total raised so far is approximately £1850, which will be donated to our charity, The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths.

To the Parents of Children in Class 11

On Tuesday 16th March we are taking class 11 to visit 78 Derngate: The Charles Rennie Mackintosh House and Galleries, and Northampton Museum.

This will support their Art Nouveau Design topic in Art and their Local History topic in History.

We will leave school at 9am and return in time for lunch.

Full school uniform should be worn, with blazers, not coats and children should all bring their morning snacks as usual.
