Bubble Workshop September 2007
The Prep department were visited by the outreach department of the National Science Museum for a day of practical science. The children were introduced to various sizes of bubbles and methods for blowing, including helium bubbles. The highlight of the show was a bubble large enough for a teacher to stand in. In the afternoon Class 11 children made their own working hovercrafts using a cd, a sports bottle top and a balloon. The children found this to a fun and exciting day.
