Growing vegetables at Walton November 2007
At Walton we have our own vegetable garden.
Top Class spent the afternoon in the garden looking at the different vegetables that were growing.
They learnt that some vegetables grow under the ground and some grow on plants above the ground.
The children found lots of interesting things, including runner beans, courgettes, potatoes as big as their hands and tomato plants which were taller than them!
At Walton we have our own vegetable garden.
