A visitor to Walton Pre-Preparatory School - Mar 2007
Class 3 children at Walton had a visit from a slithery friend "Sammy the Snake" as part of their topic on Animals this half term.
Those who were brave enough had an opportunity to feel Sammy, and those who were not looked at the different skins he had shed. The group enjoyed looking at the skins and discussing the different shapes and sizes. They also discussed the snake's habitat and what he eats. The children particularly enjoyed watching his tongue!
