Nursery Information

Our Nursery Department is for children under 2 ½ years old. Babies and little children move through the different rooms as they get older, each room being appropriately equipped for a particular age group.

Every day the children enjoy a wide variety of activities. These might include messy activities like sticking and painting, playing in sand and water, music and singing, stories and rhymes. Older ones will also play in the garden each day.

Children who stay all day have a sleep after lunch, in their own rooms.

Hot lunches are produced by our chef, using freshly prepared ingredients. During the morning the children have milk and either fresh fruit or a plain biscuit. Those who stay all day have a light tea in the afternoon, again freshly prepared in our own kitchen.
