MKPS Parents’ Association

In September 2009 a Parents' Association was reformed and an inaugural meeting was attended by a great many parents from all departments of the school.

All parents of current pupils are automatically members of the Parents' Association and are welcome to attend any of the meetings. There will be one meeting each term to plan events and the dates will be publicized in school. Please get involved and give us your ideas!

It was decided to have a parent representative for each year group, who would contact new parents in their year group and be a focal point of contact. The following parents volunteered to do this:

Mrs Joseph (class 9B) volunteered to steer the association and chair meetings, Mrs Spearman (classes 9S and 7I) volunteered to act as treasurer and Mrs Fitzpatrick (classes 8R and 5J) offered to take notes at meetings.

The first event was a very successful Spring Fete in March, where £1800 was raised for The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the fun and success of this day.
